Toyota World Motor Sport 2007
Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) is focusing on four principle motor sport series during 2007:-
- Formula 1
- NASCAR
- Super GT
- Formula Nippon
In its sixth year of F1 competition, Toyota is fielding its new TF107 race car, redesigned for better aerodynamics and weight distribution.
In NASCAR, Toyota is competing for the first time in the sport’s premier Nextel Cup series and the Busch Series with its Camry saloon. It continues to race the Tundra in the Craftsman Truck Series, having won both driver and manufacturer titles in 2006.
In Japan, Toyota is aiming for a second consecutive title in Super GT, running Lexus SC 430 cars in the GT500 class.
Toyota continues to supply engines for Formula Nippon, one of Japan’s leading formula racing series.
